Assignments

There will be two assignments in COMP2100 in 2006, due at the ends of weeks 7 and 11. They will all be based on the project, which is a prototype system for academic publishing based on the OpenOffice XML file format and the ACM's Microsoft Word article template. This is a substantial system, at least an order of magnitude larger than anything you have encountered in first year.

The first assignment may also include some testing tasks which will utilise the JUnit framework.

Links to the assignment specifications won't go anywhere until the assignments are released.

Assignment 1

Do something with the project software, significantly enhancing its capabilities.

Assignment 2

Work on the graphical user interface of the project software.
