COMP2300: Getting Help
Problems Understanding the Course Material
- Check the course resources listed on the
main COMP2300 page. The textbook or reference books may
well have relevant sections, even if they haven't been explicitly
cited. Also be sure to check the
lecture slides and
lab sheets.
- One of the most useful sources of help when you have a problem
is to ask a fellow student. get to know the other students in
your lab group.
- Post a message to the Course's bulletin board
(comp2300.talk).
- Talk to your tutor at the next lab.
- Ask the module lecturer via email
or by seeing him during his office hours.

If you have problems with logins or broken hardware, please
see the Technical Support Group's
Getting Help web site.
Administrative Matters
If querying an assignment mark, please see your tutor at the
next lab, or contact them via email.
For issuse like changing your lab groups, or seeking an assignment
extensions, please email

or see the course coordinator during office hours.
If requesting an assignment extension, please provide supporting
documentation (e.g. medical certificates).
