As discussed in the lectures on Tuesday 26 July and Tuesday 2 August, the assessment scheme for COMP2400 and COMP6240 in 2005 will be as follows.

The 'raw mark' will be calculated according to the above scheme; final marks may be scaled. To pass the course you need a final mark of 50 or above, to have submitted all assignments, and to score at least 30 out of 70 on the exam component.
There will be no 'supplementary' midsemester exam; any students who miss that exam for whatever reason will have the final exam weighted 70%. Supplementary final exams will be granted to those students who meet both of the following criteria:
