Submission Details

Exercise 3 is to be submitted in Week 6.

The command to use (on a unix command line) is:

submit comp2400 ex3 view.sql

OR

submit comp6240 ex3 view.sql

(depending upon which course you are enrolled in).

If you have trouble submitting your file , ask your tutor for assistance during your Lab Session in Week 6.

How to Do Exercise 3

Your task for this Exercise is to create one of the views for the SQL, Bugs, and Rock 'n' Roll Database

1. Copy and save the supplied code as  view.sql  in an appropriate folder in your student home directory.

2. Update your  view.sql  by replacing each  <description>  with appropriate text.

   
   Do not put any other commands in your  view.sql  file.
   Do not put any other comments in your  view.sql  file.

3. After making sure that you are in the correct directory, test your  view.sql  by starting it at an SQL prompt.

4. Submit your updated copy of  view.sql  (see above).
