• The main reference book is An Introduction to High-Performance Scientific Computing , Fosdick, Elizabeth R. Jessup, Carolyn J. C. Schauble, and Gitta Domik MIT Press ISBN 0-262-0618-13. Some copies should also become available in the ANU Bookshop and Chifley Closed Reserve. Some sections will be also be distributed as Handouts.
• A reference for some advanced topics is High Performance Cluster Computing , Rajkumar Buyya (ed), Prentice Hall PTR, NJ, USA, 1999. This is in 2 volumes. Vol.1: Architectures and Systems, (ISBN 0-13-013784-7) and Vol 2: Programming and Applications (ISBN 0-13-013785-5).
