Tutorial/Lab Exercises

This course will use machines located at the National Computational Infrastructure National Facility. You need to obtain an account on that machine. This takes one working day. To get an account you need to go to http://nf.nci.org.au/accounts/forms/user_connection.php and complete the form. On the form:
  • Project code - c37
  • Existing Login - leave blank
  • Connect User on System - yes
  • Research Role - Researcher
  • Surname, firstname, initial as you may expect (it must be real)
  • Person's Title - Mr/Ms
  • Position Held - YOUR STUDENT ID (eg u9507815, it must be correct)
  • You must provide a mobile number - your password will come via SMS
  • Department, Faculty, University, State, Country, Postcode - Computer Science, CECS, ANU, ACT, Australia, 0200.
