About the assignments
Assignments form part of your assessment. You should do your assignments
independently. If by any chance any kind of plagiarism is caught, heavy penalty
will apply. Suspected plagiarism will be judged as plagiarism if no
acceptable defending evidence of being innocent can be provided.
You are encouraged to use a
cover sheet for your assignments.

Notes about your assignments submission
- No assignment box is set for comp4320. Assignments are usually
to be handed in after
a lecture or drop to my office (CSIT building, room N314). If the
office door is locked, just put your assignments through the slot
under the door. If you cannot hand in your hard copy of assignments
in time, emails may also be acceptable if there is a good excuse.
In case of submission via emails, only pdf and ps formats are acceptable,
and email submissions may not get written comments back.
-
You are strongly recommended to submit your assignments well before the deadline
in case of unexpected problems, for example network problems actually
occur quite often.
- This is general guideline only. Please refer to individual assignment
instructions.
Marked assignments
Marked assignments should be collected as early as possible, and have them checked.
If you have any questions regarding the marks or any confusion, please check with
the lecturer. Assignment marks are not changed after the final exam, except for some
obvious mistakes (e.g. miss counted marks). Please keep your marked assignments until
the course is completely finished.
