Blender

Given you may be bussy with other assignments for other subjects, this and the final lab is designed to be a little simpler and shorter. The main aim of this lab is to gain a basic idea of what is involved in using 3D modelling software. In this lab you will be using a very powerful 3D modeling tool called Blender.

Step 1 (4 marks)

Make a simple object(something a little more complex than a shpere or a cube) in Blender. And lighting and set up some type material with a texture. Render your object into a jpeg.

Step 2 (1 mark)

Create an animation using a number of objects in your scene. Render the animation and save it in a standard video format(e.g. avi or ogv).

Step 3 (1 mark)

Add some fluid effects into your animation. Comment on some of the visual limitations of the simulation and rendering.
