COMP8100 Software Requirements Elicitation and Analysis

Welcome to COMP8100 for 2008.

COMP8100 is a mandatory part of the Master of Software Engineering and an elective for other Masters programs within the College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS). The course is intended to provide experienced software developers with practical information concerning requirements elicitation, development and management techniques that have been found to significantly enhance the success of software developments. The underlying purpose of the course is to help software engineers realise that attempting to solve a problem without first defining the problem is time wasting, costly, and negligent.
