There will be progressive exercises/assignments that will carry marks and be collated to indicate progress and understanding as well as contribution to final results. One examinations will be conducted in the normal examination period at the end of the semester. This examination will constitute the major proportion of the input to assessment. The ratio of examination to exercise/assignment contributions to assessment will be 60/40. That is, the final examination will be worth 60% of overall result and the workshop/tutorial exercises/assignments will be worth 40% of the overall result. All results may be scaled either upwards or downwards.
