The course will be divided into several phases
- 21st March, 2013 - Information Evening. On Thursday the 21st
of March, starting at 7pm, there will be an introductory evening for all
students. The course material will be outlined, and students will be
given some reading material that should be studied before the main
course begins.
- 3rd, 4th, 5th and 10th April - Main course. The main
course will commence on Wednesday 3rd April in the week after Easter.
There will be three intensive days in a row, followed by another one-off
intensive day on the following Wednesday (10th April).
The course will run from 9am to 6pm each day (with breaks).
- 13th April - Student Presentations. On Saturday the 13th of
April each student will give a short presentation on their project.
- 20th April, 27th April, 4th May. Laboratory sessions will be
offered between 2pm and 5pm on the three Saturdays following the main
course. These sessions are intended for students completing the
assessment part of the course.
- Assessment period. After the main course is over, the
students are expected to prepare materials for assessment, which will
be due by Monday, 27th of May (week 13), at 9am. Details on assessment options
are available on the assessment page.
