Individual Project Description Template (2012)

Title: title of the project

  • Appropriate Courses: select whichever apply from this list: COMP8740 (AI), COMP8750 (CSys), COMP8760 (CSci), COMP8780 (HCC), COMP8790 (SE); COMP3710 (CS), COMP3740 (Computing), COMP3750 (CSys), COMP3760 (IS)

Note: please try to be as broad as reasonably possible in the above. For example, a project involving data mining techniques could be considered both in the AI and CSci areas. Any project involving the implementation of a substantial software artefact may be considered for COMP8790 (with an increased emphasis on project management and process). A project involving the implementation a GUI may be considered both in the eSci and HCC areas (however, it should then involve a proper usability evaluation). Note however that to be suitable for the COMP8*** courses, the project should still involve a substantial learning experience in its designated subject area(s).
