Special Consideration in RSCS: Policy and Procedures

Special consideration is the process by which the Course Authority (examiner of a course) takes your extenuating circumstances into consideration during the marking of your examination or other assessment item of a course.

You may apply for special consideration if you feel that your performance has been affected by factors outside of your control.

To apply for special consideration, complete an Application for Special Consideration and submit it to the RSCS Office.

Unless you are physically unable to attend an examination as defined in the Special Examination Policy you are required to sit the examination and apply for Special Consideration.
