This is optional, but quite desirable. The only disadvantage is that all units depending upon the header file will be recompiled even if the header file has not changed (only the function bodies). Unfortunately, the lesson of expressing sufficient and efficient recompilation strategies in Makefiles is lost.

We use compilation unit here to avoid confusion with the WEB term module.
