Bio:

Fiacre Rougieux has a phD in the field of photovoltaics and semiconductor materials (ANU, 2012), a MEng (National Institute of Applied Science France, 2008) and a Certificate in Engineering (Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, 2008). His studies have been focused on materials science, nanotechnology, solar cells and semiconductor physics. He is currently an Australian Solar Institute Post-doctoral Fellow at the ANU where he investigates the potential of upgraded-metallurgical-grade feedstocks for the solar industry. Since starting his phD in 2008, he has published and co-authored more than 20 papers. His research interests includes solar grade silicon, advanced solar cells processes and silicon defects impact on solar cells.
