Bio:Tom Worthington is an independent consulting Certified Computer Professional and an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the Research School of Computer Science at the ANU. He is also a member of the ANU Climate Change Institute and Energy Change Institute. Tom was elected a Fellow of the ACS in 1999 for his contribution to the development of public Internet policy in Australia. He is a past president, Fellow and Honorary Life Member of the ACS, a voting member of the Association for Computing Machinery and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Tom is the author of the award winning ebook and on-line course "ICT Sustainability: Assessment and Strategies for a Low Carbon Future", used by universities in Australia and North America.
