Research interests:

Spatial Audio, Array Signal Processing, Virtual Acoustics and Surround Sound Systems, HRTF (Head-Related Transfer Function) Measurement and Modelling, Source Localization and Separation, Sphere Signal Processing, Signal Extrapolation, Channel Modelling of Wireless Communication Systems.

Bio:

Dr. Wen Zhang received the B.E. degree in telecommunication engineering from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 2003 and the M.E. degree (with first class honors) and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Australian National University, Canberra, in 2005 and 2010, respectively. From February 2010 to March 2012, she was an OCE Postdoctoral Fellow at CSIRO Process Science and Engineering, Sydney, Australia. She is currently Research Fellow in the Research School of Engineering working on ARC project of Robust Signal Processing Theory for Synthesis and Analysis of Spatial Wavefields.
