Research interests:

I am active in a range of computer vision and vision science projects. Current areas of interest include (but are not limited to): surface segmentation from stereo disparity/optical flow; bio-inspired visual robot control; vision algorithms to support navigation with low resolution/dynamic-range prosthetic vision and low vision devices; mobility and orientation assistance for the visually impaired (and in particular, for a visual prosthesis).
