Following the success of 2001 and 2002 International Workshop on Cryptology and Network Security, the 2003 International Workshop on Cryptology and Network Security (CANS03) is to be held in conjunction with The 9th International Conference on Distributed Multimedia Systems (DMS'2003) in Miami, Florida, USA, in September 2003. Original papers on all aspects of cryptology and network security are solicited for submission to the workshop. Both theoretical research papers in cryptology and research results from practical applications in network security related areas are welcome. Topics covered by the workshop will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Instructions for Authors

Authors are invited to submit original papers not previously published nor submitted for publication to any other conference or workshop that have proceedings, or a journal. Submissions will be judged on its originality, significance, correctness and clarity. Authors should make every effort to ensure that its technical content is understandable by a broad audience. Submissions must be anonymous, i.e. they contain no author information, and there should be no obvious indication in the references and acknowledgment. Papers must be written in English, and are limited to 16 pages with 11 pt or larger font, including title page, figures and bibliography. Only electronic submissions will be accepted. Electronic submissions must be in postscript (ps), or portable document format (Adobe Acrobat). Papers in MS Word format may be accepted but cannot guarantee that the printout will be as expected. Submissions should be sent via email to Dr Chuan-Kun Wu (Email: Chuan.Wu@cs.anu.edu.au) All submissions should have a plain text email indicating paper title, author names and full addresses, email addresses, phone and fax numbers (if possible), and for co-operated work, indicating the corresponding author. The paper should be made available as an attachment. Multiple submissions should be processed separately.

The proceedings of the workshop will be published by the same publisher for DMS proceedings. Publication of selected papers from the workshop as a journal special issue is to be negotiated after the workshop.
