Hi, I am Tom Gedeon, Professor of Computer Science, and formerly Head of Department, of the Department of Computer Science in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at The Australian National University in Canberra.

I am currently teaching COMP1710 Tools for New Media and the Web.
research
My research is focused on the development of automated systems for information extraction, and for the synthesis of the extracted information into humanly useful information resources, primarily using neural network and fuzzy logic methods.
