If you’ve just enrolled, have a look at the course start checklist.

Here’s the main ways to get help in this course:

  1. Read the website: The website is the main source of information for this course. In particular, you should know about the course policies and the stuff on the resources page.

  2. Attend your weekly lab session: Look at the lab material ahead of time and come prepared. If you know what aspects of the course you’re struggling with then you can let your tutor know—they’re here to help you.

  3. Ask good questions on the forum: You’re probably not the only one with the same question, so if you ask it there then others can benefit as well.

  4. Start your assignments early: In this course, a large part of what you do in an assignment is up to you. This freedom should feel great to you, but it can also be a bit intimidating. That is why you should start your assignments early so that you can discuss your assignment with your tutor well before the due date. Make use of your time in labs and the course forum for this, do not email or teams message your tutors directly.

If you have an important question, first check the FAQ then look at the communication policy for the best way to get an answer.
