In a nutshell, Singapore Airlines launched a global call to invite students from all the best universities to form teams of 2 - 4 and brainstorm innovative solutions that can tackle major pain points in the airlines industry (improving mobile app engagement; streamlining offloaded passenger compensation process; unlocking new shopping experience, installing food and inventory tracking systems, etc.).
The participants are required to submit their ideas online before the 30th of September for the jury's review. All those who have qualified will be flown to Singapore (with the travel costs fully covered) for the final pitch on 27th of October, and compete for the potential proof of concept with SIA for commercial solutions, return airfare to SIA destinations, cash prizes up to SG$5,000 and more.
In addition to competing for the featured prizes, this would be a great opportunity to learn and grow, as youreceive:
