Young Engineers Australia Undergrad Project Presentation Night + Prizes

YOUNG ENGINEERS AUSTRALIA - UNDERGRADUATE PROJECT PRESENTATION NIGHT

Young Engineers Australia are hosting, for the first time, an “Undergraduate Project Presentation Night (UPP)” for students from UC, ANU and UNSW to present on any undergraduate research topic they have undertaken.

Each presenter will have three minutes for their presentation, followed by a question from the judging panel.

Students will be required to provide a brief synopsis of their project (less than 200 words) to the YEA-UPP coordinator (canberradivision@engineersaustralia.org.au) two weeks before the event to short-list those selected.

The winner will receive $500 plus a framed certificate from Engineers Australia.  Other cash prizes are $250 for second, $125 for third and $125 for people’s choice.  There is no fee for students wishing to enter the competition.

The presentation will be held at Thales Offices, 70 Kent St, Deakin at 6.00pm, this will also provide students with the opportunity to network with other students and professional engineers from Canberra.

This event is proudly sponsored by Thales and ESA (ANU Engineering Students Association).
