Dean's series

Hosted by Professor Elanor Huntington, Dean of the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science, the Dean’s Series showcases the role of Engineering and Computer Science in tackling diverse, interesting, and important problems in our world, and provides a forum to share ideas in this space. The series consists of two streams: the Dean’s Colloquia and the College Luncheon.

College Luncheons provide a forum for world leading researchers from a range of fields to speak to CECS staff and students.  The luncheon provides an informal venue for academics in the College to discuss research of broad interest and is also focused on encouraging cross-discipline collaboration.

Dean’s Colloquia celebrate world leading thinkers who are doing transformational work in the fields of engineering and computer science. This series aims to inspire current and future engineers and scientists, with a particular emphasis on contributions that bridge different areas in science and engineering and cross discipline boundaries. These general interest talks provide a forum to bring together people from CECS, ANU, and the wider technology eco-system to share ideas.
