We believe the world needs new types of engineers, computer scientists and designers. We can’t deploy methods and techniques of the past and expect new outcomes for the future. We need to reimagine problem framing and solving, incorporate diverse voices and approaches, and work together now to ensure our future leaders and communities are prepared for the work to come.
As we are imagining something new, we need to bring in voices from both within and beyond engineering, computer science, design and education, and collaborate with those who will use and apply these skills in their communities.
Across 2019 we will be hosting a series of CoDesign events as part of an ongoing program to bring together input from industry, educators and the community to shape the learning and research we will need to build the products and tools of the future.
Together we will explore and co-design educational models and research agendas for a new type of engineering and computing fit for the middle of the 21st century. Growth and improvements in technology will only matter if the people who develop and use it bring a different mindset to innovation.
Please join and help us answer critical questions of the future.

Our lived experience is increasingly one of large-scale systems of people, whose actions and interactions are influenced by our digital, physical and biological environment. We and our technology are highly interconnected and yet highly diverse.
